Project Butterfly COVID-19

The Butterfly Baby Club from The University of Edinburgh was created in response to the COVID-19 pandemic to reach out to parents and their babies worldwide. They felt the best way to support families experiencing social distancing and lockdown was to create an innovative collection of free online resources ‘with parents, for parents’ through Citizen Science.

They are now investigating the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic on parent-infant wellbeing and early year’s professionals in the UK and also piloting a new nature-based mindfulness meditation wellbeing tool as part of their study.
